(PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE VERY SHORT NAILS FOR THIS CLASS) Join our wheel workshop specialized for beginners! The workshop focuses on teaching you the basic techniques for working with clay on a pottery wheel. You will have the opportunity to keep upto two pieces that you successfully created during the workshop (all pieces are WITHOUT HANDLES) and return later to color them with your special pottery colors. The total price includes the glazing (coloring) session. Accidents happen and sometimes pieces break in the oven (kiln) which is normal in ceramics art, you will not be refunded.

Join our four day summer camp from Monday to Thursday and make a variety of ceramic pieces! Class starts at 11:00 am and ends exactly at 3:00pm. Please bring a lunchbox with you since we do not provide food. Break time is 12-12:30 Here are the list of clay activities the children will engage in during this 5 day clay camp! 1. **Pinch Pots**: Simple and perfect for young hands, children can create small bowls by pinching a ball of clay into shape. 2. **Clay Animals**: Kids can use their imagination to create various animals from clay, encouraging creativity and fine motor skills. 3. **Textured Tiles**: Provide children with small tiles of clay and various tools (like stamps, leaves, or fabric) to press into the clay to create textures and patterns. 4. **Handprint Keepsakes**: Have the children press their hands into a slab of clay to create a handprint. They can then decorate around it with paints or glazes once it's dried and fired. 5. **Coil Pots**: Teach children to roll clay into long, thin coils and stack them to create small pots or bowls. 6. **Clay Beads**: Kids can roll small balls of clay, poke holes through them, and later paint and string them into necklaces or bracelets. 7. **Animal Masks**: Help children form simple animal masks out of clay, which they can paint and wear. 8. **Story Tiles**: Have kids create a series of tiles that, when put together, tell a simple story or scene. 9. **Impression Bowls**: Use different objects (like shells, leaves, or buttons) to press into the inside or outside of a bowl to create interesting textures. 10. **Garden Markers**: Kids can create small plaques or sticks that can be painted and used to label plants in a garden. These activities are designed to be simple yet creative, allowing young children to explore the basics of pottery while having fun.
